Sutherland vs. Apia preview of Futsal Super League Round 8 25-Nov-08 by J Simnett The 08 - 09 Football NSW Futsal Super League round 8 match between Sutherland and Apia will be played Saturday 29th November 2008 at Menai Indoor Sports Centre. Under 12 Boys to kick off 2pm, this game is set to get the day going and it will test our developing team. Should be a great match up and a challenge for both teams. Under 14 Boys to kick off 2.45pm, this game a must win for our under 14 team if they are to have a chance to finish in the top 5. Apia are not to be under estimated in this age group as anything can happen in Futsal as we all know. Under 13 Girls to kick off 3.30pm, The Coach of the team Peter Ellis has his troops ready to go for this clash as they are getting more experianced each week. I know that it will be an interesting encounter, a game not to miss as we expect end to end stuff. Under 16 Boys to kick off 4.15pm, a win in this game for Sutherland will seal a top 5 spot on the run home. This game will be full of surprises I'm sure. Under 16 Girls to kick off 5pm, this game will allow a chance for our under 16s girls team to consolidate mid week and be ready for the match up of 13th vs. 11th. Youth Men to kick off 5.45pm, our last couple of games have been a see saw ride of emotion. If we keep our heads we will be in with a chance and pick a win in this game. All Age Women to kick off 6.30pm, Sutherland in 12th spot over Apia in 13th should be a tight tussel and a game not to be taken for granted. Results are not to far away for our all age women's team keep trying hard girls. All Age Mens to kick off 7.15pm, our men's are sitting 2nd overall and are set to play a 9th placed Apia. This will be a chance for our coaching staff to test the depth of our squad. Its important however not to take Apia lightly. The Apia team have every chance of an upset, the Sutherland men's team wants to be very careful to not let this one slip and therefore a win will guarantee a top 5 finish for Sutherland. All members of the general public are invited to attend and entry is free. A BBQ will be on hand to feed the massess on the day thanks to donations from Woolworths Caringbah and a small but committed band of volunteers. SSFA look forward to hosting Apia and again having the opportunity of showcasing Futsal within the Sutherland Shire. Source: SSFA |
